Getting a photo under 100 KB

At 100 KB a photo can stay quite sharp, around 800–1200 pixels wide. Good for profile pictures, ID card scans and documents on forms with a 100 KB limit.

The tool first lowers the JPEG quality step by step, then reduces the width and height only if needed, and stops at the best result that is still under 100 KB (1 KB = 1024 bytes). The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Questions

How do I reduce a photo to 100 KB?

Add the photo above. The tool picks the highest quality that fits under 100 KB and shows the final size. Download it and upload it to your form.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so ID photos and signatures stay on your device.

The form still says the file is too big. What now?

Some forms count 1 KB as 1000 bytes. Choose a slightly smaller target, for example 90 KB, and try again.
