Getting a photo under 30 KB

Some forms set a 30 KB limit for the photo or signature. That is enough for a clear passport-style photo of about 300–400 pixels wide.

The tool first lowers the JPEG quality step by step, then reduces the width and height only if needed, and stops at the best result that is still under 30 KB (1 KB = 1024 bytes). The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Questions

How do I reduce a photo to 30 KB?

Add the photo above. The tool picks the highest quality that fits under 30 KB and shows the final size. Download it and upload it to your form.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so ID photos and signatures stay on your device.

The form still says the file is too big. What now?

Some forms count 1 KB as 1000 bytes. Choose a slightly smaller target, for example 27 KB, and try again.
